Thanks for the help. I indeed did encounter he bunkbuster bug, but since you told me now how to fix it I was able to get in game. :)

How does the medic work then, usually you just grab first aid kit and stand next to wounded guy and he gets healed, is case same in here? I presume so since I think I fixed up couple o' guys.

Anyways, about 30 minutes of in game experience, and I am fallen in love. Nolifin all day long tomorrow, but now some rest.

Cheers for all the help guys. :)

you have to hold left mouse to use med pack you can also use field dressing but that will only heal 25% and of course if some one is wounded you can use the epipen and CPR to dislodge them from a structure or object if they get stuck

Also don't forget about deviation you have to keep your weapons zoomed in on target for about 5 secs before you can shoot almost perfectly

Unlike in vBf2 where you stand next to someone with your bag out, in PR you have to aim at the guy you want to heal and keep pressing your left mouse button (fire button). If you're healing you'll hear a sound of some bandages being unwrapped and stuff until you're done. I recommend reading the manual, it describes all these kind of little changes, plus a whole lot more ;)

Edit: ninja'd :p

kristian make sure you use PR mumble while playing. It brings a whole new level to PR.

I would advise you to join PMC as they are imo one of the best PR communities.

Check em out ProjectMumbleCommunity | Index page

Hope you continue enjoying PR.

Yeah, This game is great, there's also a lot of Community factions being worked on, so in a while they'll be a great addition to the game, and if you like ARMA 2, there's the expansion to that engine now as well.
This signature is now DIAMONDS!

there are many public servers

have not seen any hackers myself, and i have yet to hear of one.

performance drops, well that's entirely a point of view issue, some people with high end computers are complaining of some in the latest release while some of us with mid range to lower end computers seem to have nothing more than a few fps drops in areas that are obviously graphics heavy

teamwork well that depends on the kind of rules on the server and the current admins. luck is also a huge factor to see if you get into the server at a time when team playing players are on.

all in all I'd say it'd be worth the buy, it was for me. hell i had the same thought when i first heard of PR. after a year or so i was totally bored of and had developed a hate for BF2. hell it only cost me 10 bucks (canadian) to get it

I bought it brand new for my cousin's birthday from Amazon just for 9.99$ which is pretty cheap.

sad gameplay story:

Wandering around city in flames in middle east, (collaboratz0r)
I saw a british IFV disembark men, so I stood my hands up (distance was about 100 meters) and they looked at me for while then openned fire, is this the reality in afganistan? ;)

It's not badly optimized, it's demanding. Well, demanding to the point of being almost unplayable, but still ;) It's like Crysis, five years after it's inital release there start to be computers that can actually run it :D

Welcome :)

Um, people say Read the Manual but *whisper it* most of us probably didn't :p

Anyway, here's some stuff you might want to look at to get you started:

Basic Medic Vid Tutorial

Intermediate/Advanced Med Vid Tutorial

Also, you may want to have a quick look at this list. If you see any of these guys around, no doubt this is the squad you want to be in :D

Also this might be helpful, although it's pretty long and disorganized.

Was trying to find that deviation vid tutorial, but couldn't see it anywhere. Someone help me out?

Anyways, there's no substitute for just playing, hope to see you on Project Mumble Community soon ;)

I've read the manual for every PR release I've played. And time to time I also re-check some details if I haven't had to use some feature for a long time or there some other unclear detail. But I guess it's just me... ;)
