Is Track IR supported with 1.5?
I heard a rumor that track IR is now able to be configured for vehicles in 1.5 is this true or false?

They added support for some kind of thing like TrackIR. You should test it. If it doesn't work, some emulator should do the trick.
Ie. Y Axis = ctrl+mouse up
-Y Axis = ctrl+mouse down...
Know what I mean?
xPadder should do the trick

TrackIR support doesn't come directly with BF2 v1.5 no, but you can hack the .exe to get TrackIR to work with BF2.
We may be able to use the pr.exe to force TrackIR support on BF2 but how doable it is we are not sure yet.

I'm curious how many people actually have TrackIR. It's rather expensive, certainly beyond my price range, so how many people actually own/are seriously considering buying it?

Seen quite a few vids of it working in helis/jets in bf2, although I think I remember reading about PB kicks a while ago but I may be wrong.
Always wanted it for Il2 but I dont play enough games that support it to warrant buying it.

Same, I'm considering AMBX gaming lighting for immersion in stead, 25 quid and looks great.[R-COM]BloodBane611 wrote:I'm curious how many people actually have TrackIR. It's rather expensive, certainly beyond my price range, so how many people actually own/are seriously considering buying it?

They said it was supported in 1.5, you can see the options in the config menus....
Wether or not it actually works is another question.

Is it possible to have the free view of Track IR without the actual hardware?
Since how it is now you cannot steer when lookin in a different direction.

If freetrack works too, it would cost you around 5 bucks.[R-COM]BloodBane611 wrote:I'm curious how many people actually have TrackIR. It's rather expensive, certainly beyond my price range, so how many people actually own/are seriously considering buying it?
