Personally I'm rarely surprised by an enemy. In PR the sounds are so good you can hear people coming long before you see them. So, loitering around a grenade trap isn't much of an issue because when you hear the enemy coming you can back off, get in position and be ready for the action. On the other hand when a friendly walks near you, you aren't considering them a threat, and keep your guard down.'= wrote:H[=ElvishKnight;1307545']Dumb question but why would you sit next to the grenade trap? Someone on the other side neaks up on you, sets off the trap and you die anyways... doesnt help you much at all.
And then there's also the times where insurgents just want to take out as many enemy as possible, even if it means using suicidal tactics like baiting them into a doorway with a grenade trap.
