Yes, i know it is a shocker, but i figured i would try something that was actually on the list of things that still had to be made :mrgreen: . My reference pics:

My first update!!!. the doors still have to be cut out and defined and bviously the textures need to be tweaked, but this should give you a feel for it. This is my first model, any constructive criticism is welcome. My personal favorite is the glass- took me forever to figure out XD

My second update. I have added the trailer and decided to take off the textures because I am going to make my own in Photoshop. I still have a lot of work to do, remember, this is very WIP, but i wanted to get the basic shape down so i can get more detailed. Next update will probably be tommorow.

My third update, and it is definately the last one of the day. Before you look at the picture, i must say something. I was building this truck, my fingers slaving away, my eyes becoming bloodshot, when suddenly i got to thinking- Why make a canvas top? All that the BLUFOR use the canvas tops for anyway is to mark the difference between heavy transport trucks and supply trucks. so i decided, why not just show the supplies in the supply truck. Genious? maybe not. Adding to the gameplay. I think so. And with that, i would like to unveil my latest update

I am working very hard. It is past midnight, but this is addictive. So I decided to add some headlights and tire gaurds

dude if you're really new to modeling try to stick with some basic tutorial, or basic model.

a truck is too much for a first try, try modeling a small weapon or something static, little houses, don't know...
you must workout on how to get correct size and angle from pictures... try to find better references with ortogonal views, maybe blueprints then use it in procjetions inside the modeling program.

about the model youre trying,

we basicaly start with the basic shape of all things, like the cabin, wheels, the body, then go into refining those.
before you move to the any detail you should have the whole vehicle in shape, you only think about texture when everything is almost perfectly.. other way you'll have to rework your textures over and over again...

it might be a little annoying that someone posts 5 comments in his own thread about one's little progress within a day but without judging the carefully made decision by the forum manager, I would like to enquire why this fellow was banned

Wakain, this user had been already banned once with another account name ;)

Good job MOD/DEVs, I was thinking it was xxXmsgt_jimbobXxx when I saw the age of the guy, the way he posted and as well the website used to host the pics (which looks like oddly the other website...)

I was to ask a MOD to check the IP of the OP, I think it's what you have done. ;)

thanks for the reply, but it doesn't really help me further:s, what exactly had this jimbobx done wrong in the past? (except for spamming the forum with low quality models made with wrong programs that could never be of any use :p )
