Not Working with Vent or TS

Post by steeljackal »

Pretty simple to be honest.

When i play PR Ventrillo or TeamSpeak wont work over the top of it at the same time, any solutions? or could this be an all around problem, ive tried it with one other game, and that dosent work either.

My friend has had the same problem with some games but not PR, the only way he fixed it was to either hold down your "Push-to-talk" key while the game was launching (Makes it so your microphone was always on) or take off PTT all together. Hope this helps

When asking for help,
please remember to post your:
Operating System (OS)
systems specs (MoBo, GFX, Audio, generally hardware),
network setup (router-model, direct connection, DSL, 36k-modem, how many clients)
And a brief history before and after problem started. (Did you change anything? new drivers, new Anti-Vir...)
Please describe as precisely as possible when your problem hits and
what you have already tried.

please elaborate

Are you able to neither recieve nor transmit?
What are your expectations? (talk via PTT or by voice-activation)

This does not seem to be a general problem as there are too few people reporting this problem (Infact you are the first to me).

Note: Mumble, Vent and TS2 work perfectly fine with BF2 on my XP 64bit. So its either Vista related or (more probable) a settings problem.

There is currently another problem thread by you discussing a different problem. It is neccessary to state all your current problems to be able to diagnose and exclude corellations between the symptoms and to find possible root causes.
