OK I have couple of things that I think should be improved:
1. The helicopters are too weak, 4-5 MG rounds and they are down, in reality they can stand more, they were fine in .87, and about the huey it is very strong in reality also, because if the helis are as weak IRL as in PR then on every real mission that supports helicopters will be like Black Hawk Down ( except the fastropes :D :D :D :D ). So maybe you can roll back changes to .87 or make them a bit stronger.
2. IRL there are 4-5 casualties for both sides, well if it is a really large scale battle (like ARMA :D ) there will be more but for smaller battles like in PR it is unrealistically to have 50 dead and 80 kills in the end for the whole team.

A .50 Cal bullet can tear up a helicopter. Especially the little bird.

For your second suggestion, all i can say is players are hardcoded and its a game.

I agree that helis are a little vulnerable, but I'd rather not turn them in to flying tanks - what I'd LOVE is more detailed damage models

e.g. if you hit the hull, it hurts but not so bad, if you hit the engine, you score 40% damage right there.

your second suggestion makes no sense.

generally agree, but in a different sense, mainly because everything is able to kill them

MG very vague, 5.56, 7.62, 12.7??? sure 5.56 might not to do much to the more sophisticated helicopters but a 12.7 would rip them apart

granted the Y designation will probably be more armoured however a near 50% destroyed rate wouldn't suggest strong imo
