Hi guys,
One problem that i am having, and i am hoping that you will be able to help me with. Recently installed battlefield 2 again, with all the patches etc, so i decided to try and have a go on Project Reality.
Downloaded, installed perfectly, restarted my computer, and clicked on the PR.exe on the desktop. The only problem is, that when i do, it comes up with the PR splash screen, then the BF2 one, and then goes black, and crashes to the desktop.
Before i installed this, everything worked perfectly, so can anyone help me?
Cheers
Bf2 + PR v0.9

Re: Bf2 + PR v0.9
Thank god for that, whilst trying to fix it, what i found was in my Program Files (86) folder, it had BF2 files in it, (most probably from PR) so i moved the folder into my C
rogram Files\EA GAMES and it works!
Now, does anyone know how to stop the game from freezing when i click on deploy?

Ok, so here it goes,
I start the game up, goes ok, log on, ok, go to my settings to change something, and when i click on audio, it jams! So could that be the problem?

Check this link:

Also: Having found BF2 files in multiple locations sounds like an installation problem. I suggets a complete reinstall of BF2 and PR.

Re: Bf2 + PR v0.9
Make sure to run the installers and the game as admin.
Patch 1.41 is required do not skip it!
DirectX 9.0c is required although you probably have DX10 installed. Do not skip that either.
Try installing to the default locations (BF2 and PR).
to get an error msg from bf2 you can start it in windowed mode:
change your shortcut's parameters to "+fullscreen 0" ie:
try reproducing the error and
then google the error message you get from bf2 if you do not find a solution post back here
