Optics on top of ACOGs.
This might be a resuggestion, so the mods may lock if it is.
How about giving the ACOG red dots on top of the scope body, using Mosquill's system? My justification for this is that currently, the US Army and USMC allow soldiers to get their own ACOG and change their weapons somewhat. However, to balance things out, this would be relatively limited, ie maybe 10-8 people per team would be able to use this, if the other team doesn't get some sort of CQC sight for scoped riflemen.
Ideas?

is it common in the US army/USMC ? i havnt seen much use of it (only recall one picture of it) but it comes as standard for new brit ACOGs it would seem.

Re: Optics on top of ACOGs.
valid suggestion, but kinda cosmetic.
although before we even begin dwelling into this we need to get our animators (pretty much chuc so far) and we need to learn the coding behind it. pretty much implement the system.
lets do that first and then begin thinking about this stuff

Now, we first need to just get the RMR model and dot. The RMRs are pretty tough, and some models use the same illumination system as the ACOG itself, fiber optic and tritium.

It doesn't have to be this dot thing, i think there can be some iron sight on top of scopes too acting as backup sights.
but there isn't space for more weapon slot

As a side note, I'll just drop this off here, I think it should be easy to get the idea...

Hold on guys, i got an idea.. i dont know how to do it because i dont know codes and what not, but remember the Grenadier new sites suggestion? Remember how when he takes aim, he pops up a menu to adjust his sights, what if, when you right click into the zoom.. you can click say "T" or "Q" or something else to bring up a menu, and then you can select "CQB" or "backup sights" and "main scope" that way you arent taking up another weapon slot... should only be 2 option.. so your not playing around with it too much and losing valuable time, a quick click and a quick up or down, and select your sight mode.. cause after that, all that would need to be done, is the animations of where your taking aim out of.. and then Right click again to cancel the zoom
