Addiction

Post by LEEROY_UK »

Why am i soo hopelessly addicted to PR ? Its like a drug, i have to get my fix everyday !
Im at work and the day starts to draw to a close and im itching to leave and the first thing i do when i get home is make a cuppa whack on the the comp...straight on PR!
Ive been playing PR for a couple of years now and games in general for 30 years and i can honestly say this is the BEST game ever created and its FREE !! Nothing else gets a look in !
God knows whats going to happen to me when ARMA :P R is released , i dont think my friends and family will ever see me again lol!
I would like this oppertunity to thank the hard work of the devs and anyone else involved for giving me and many others our gaming 'nivarna' your hard work is very loved and appreciated by all of us PR fans.

Thanks again Lee

I wouldn't say it's actually an addiction just because you like it.

Gaming might be unhealthy (especially if it interrupts social time) but for some of us I'm sure we could wish it was a Physiological need.

I don't think anything will ever do what PR does.

the only problem is that the time actually flies by when playing since a two hour round isnt a long round. then you play "a couple of rounds" and the day is gone...

His squadmates in game all cower in fear as he cries out "LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOOOY" in ecstasy....

Probably the worst case of addiction to PR I've ever heard of, but we never know how many that may be even more sickening go unreported though.

It's more of a cult i think than an addiction. I'm constantly trying to push RL people into playing telling them to buy BF2 and get the mod.

Anybody else do this? It's a tough sell they watch some gameplay videos and regurgitate some common line like.

"The graphics in Modern Warfare are way better this looks crappy"

Nobody gets it.

It's almost impossible to sell someone a game if it doesn't compete graphics wise. You really have to play PR to understand and love it, after trying to get countless real life friends and acquaintances into it, I almost have given up. PR will always be a minority game, not just because of the graphics but because it's play style.

Hi my name is Tinez and I've been using for nearly 3 years.

I will admit, I've pushed it upon others. I nearly lost my house and job because of it.

Yeah, most of my mates are MW2 whores and will never understand PR.

2 of my friends down my street have recently got into BF2, they're showing interest in PR, I'll be showing them the ropes soon. 8)

Sigh I got an infraction for posting a 'useless' post in a thread about how great PR is.
Seems like one of the mods woke up on the wrong side of bed :? ??:

I too am addicted to PR, BC2 came out not long ago, and I thought It would be great, but of course, it wasn't. Nothing can rise to the glory of PR!

Epic lols at Rudd aswell!

I'm doing it all the time. I must admit I'm quite good at it. Most people I play PR with are friends that I convinced to try PR. They always skip BF2 and go for pure PR.
