Addiction

H[=TangFiend;1321660']It's more of a cult i think than an addiction. I'm constantly trying to push RL people into playing telling them to buy BF2 and get the mod.

Anybody else do this? It's a tough sell they watch some gameplay videos and regurgitate some common line like.

i get cravings every so often. some weeks i'm on it everyday then the next i hardly play it. PRs fuckin with my miiiiiind

its been 1 and a half month ago sinc ei last played PR,i barely ever play it nowadays,im just here for the community lol.
untill i get time again that is,i only boot up PR if i got loads of time,i dont wantto just play an hour and go.

Well none of Rudd's work is in the mod yet, apart from him helping with testing etc

Think there is a topic somewhere round here explaining what each tag is but can't find it right now, but basically an R-CON is someone who dose a bit of work on the side or someone who is basically working towards being a DEV and an R-DEV is someone who dose the bulk of the development

Why am i soo hopelessly addicted to PR ? Its like a drug, i have to get my fix everyday !
Im at work and the day starts to draw to a close and im itching to leave and the first thing i do when i get home is make a cuppa whack on the the comp...straight on PR!
Ive been playing PR for a couple of years now and games in general for 30 years and i can honestly say this is the BEST game ever created and its FREE !! Nothing else gets a look in !
God knows whats going to happen to me when ARMA R is released , i dont think my friends and family will ever see me again lol!
I would like this oppertunity to thank the hard work of the devs and anyone else involved for giving me and many others our gaming 'nivarna' your hard work is very loved and appreciated by all of us PR fans.

Though I did my best to help out while I work on my own projects, but I'm sure leeroy meant he was trying to thank the PR team as a whole

Rhino and his like are of extraordinary talent and dedication, getting a glimpse in to the inner workings of the team you soon get a new appreciation of how hard these guys work to give us all a game we love for free.

As you, I was once hopelessly addicted to PR.

One approach that might help you, is to stop playing PR, uninstall.

Can recommend stop playing the game for six months or more.

At some point in my addictive PR period, i decided to try and use it to my benefit. So i began deploying interest in a specific part of the game -and step by step, over a few years, that i would have used on playing the game anyway, turned that interest, into useful real-life knowledge.

Today i still use that experience from PR in different parts of the so called real life.
