At Blackwater we are psyched up & indeed ready for the .95 Project Reality release. Awesome work as usual Devs and thanks to all those who contributed to yet another epic version release.

We have been continuing to have some great rounds of "tactics & teamwork" oriented game-play on the BW I PR server & wish to extend a cordial invite to those among us who appreciate a server that fosters mature, fun, tactical, team-work oriented game-play.

FYI: In preparation and eager anticipation for the completion/release of PR ArmA2 OA we recently began & are now running an official ArmA2 OA server: 8.6.8.114:2302

We encourage PR Mumble usage. Our Channel is: BLACKWATER (North America)

Looking to update the list of Clan Tags that frequent our server so I can add the tags into the "Smart Balance" feature of AD Framework whereby those players wearing those tags will be excluded from being auto switched by the system.

I've got most of the regulars but if you want your clan included post it here .... We "want" to keep you guys playing together! :D

The =BW= Blackwater server is now back to 64 slots! We boosted it earlier than expected due to the .98 patch's overwhelming popularity and the lack of quality American servers available to play on.

No I mean by that, that I am not allowed to literally take their server and try to teach it how to fly.

Dropping the server off a building doesn't count as teaching it to fly.

You really have to work on those crashes. Server filled up twice last night and crashed as soon as full. Is it BF2CC which causes the crashes? IMO it wasnt "Charlies Point", it was the amount of players on the server.

May ask in the SA Forums. Good luck with fixing it!

Curry.

It is Charlie's Point. We removed it from our maplist until 1.0's release. It is well documented that that map causes servers to crash. It happend several times when I played in CIA and HOG too.

May I ask you why it doesn't happen frequently on other servers? Merk (AFAIK, not sure, might have been NEW too) and PRTA (The most unstable server out there) ran Charlie's Point quite often and that didn't make the server crash or more unstable for that matter.

not to be bitching at your brain, but it is confirmed by the devs that there is something in charlies point causing server crashes :) I remember them speaking about a possible idea what the bug could be . Not sure what it was, was long time ago.
And PRTA is not crashy :(

Because most of PRTA players know that you can't enter enemy vehicles, which are causing crashes vehicle after some conditions. :D

Just had 3 games on Blackwater, was really fun, all skirmish layers with around 15 people then dwindled down to 6 but was still lots of fun, BW guys are very friendly. Hope you guys get more traffic through your server ;)

Sounds good. We play alot of skirms but we also enjoy the minimods, INS, and AAS. Hopefully with at least 16v16 we can get larger maps going
