Looks like its sorted itself out, basically it was distorting the contents of the flash massively. Cheers anyway Robbi.

Re: FireFox v3.5 (now v3.6) crashing?
Been using Opera for about a week now and although it doesn't crash like FF dose, I simply do not like it as much as FF
Missing lots of small features that I use regularly, and it dose not even reconcile the tilt on my mouse wheel which is used for horizontal scroll and is the only bit of software I've found that dose not recognize it...
So ye, really want to find the problem to why my FF is crashing is possible so I can go back to that

Have too been disappoint with the lack of horizontal scroll, and the small things like opening back pages in new tabs. May switch back, not sure yet.

Not sure what you mean here.VoXiNaTiOn wrote:and the small things like opening back pages in new tabs.
You can open links in a background tab, but it's the same key as in Fx, so I doubt that's what you mean.

If I middle click on the back arrow in FF it opens my previous window in a new tab, doesn't in Opera.
Have gone back to FF temporarily, will see if I miss any features and go from there.

Horizontal Scroll works for me?...
As for opening closed tabs, see the little cross and arrow on the right?

It's not a tab I've closed, its wanting to go back a page, but have in open in a new tab (i.e. middle clicking the back button)
Edit: Back to Opera, will make do and adapt, firefox just felt a bit "boxed in" for some reason :/.

Just gave it a go in Fx, pretty neat actually.VoXiNaTiOn wrote:It's not a tab I've closed, its wanting to go back a page, but have in open in a new tab (i.e. middle clicking the back button)
I did a little searching for your scrolling problem, give this a try;
(My Opera is in Swedish, so the official translation might differ from mine)
- Open up your settings(Ctrl+F12)
- Go to the advanced tab at the far right
- Go to the 'shortcuts' section at the bottom
- In the mouse settings box, select 'Opera standard'
- Now press 'edit' just to the right of it
- Expand the application list
- Scroll down and you should see Button 6 and Button 7 bound to Back and Forward
- Double click on Back and change it to 'Scroll left'
- Then change Forward to 'Scroll right'
- OK, OK

Re: FireFox v3.5 (now v3.6) crashing?
The high cpu usage of FF always bugged me. Yesterday i google searched some things concerning this Problem.
I found this: Firefox abspecken
It´s all german but the pictures pretty much say it all. Don´t forget to restart FF after the change.
This change makes FF put it´s cache on the harddrive when minimized. When you maximize FF the cpu usage goes back up.
BUT i found that when the cpu usage is at something like 150 after some time and you minimize FF and bring it back up it ends up at something like 50, so pretty normal.
I minimize FF every once and a while anyways when working on the computer so this comes in pretty handy.

Right FF just crashed for me on a normal google search for the first time after clicking a link, not the normal image search crash I normally get...
Really starting to get a little peed off with FF and its crashing, anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

FF never crashes on me, so I find it pretty weird to hear anyone having so much trouble with it..

Its a dictionary for the spell checker, so it spells things the proper way like it spells colour, colour, instead of color etc

Might be a pain as you'd most likely loose all saved PWs and the such (Bookmarks can be exported) but have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing FF?
