Re: Project Mumble Community (Europe)
Yeah Karbala is played far too much (due to map order), played a good 5-6 rounds on this server alone in the past week. This map has grown on me significantly though, it's a fantastically balanced insurgency map.
This is currently my favourite server for PR at the moment due to the admining, high standard of gameplay, large amounts of teamwork and of course full mumble intergration.
Unlike some other servers, there doesn't seem to be too many problems with unfair teams too.

Great server, but as above the same 'muttrah > yamalia > karbala>' maplist has been played for last week or two at peak time now.

That was an epic round as Brits sniping with my brother to defend the base at the start... then out in the valleys for the rest! I cant see to find the battlerecoder of it though? It finished about 11.50pm GMT if anyone could kindly direct me to it

Re: Project Mumble Community (Europe)
L4gi's squad (included me) basically "revenge" baseraped the Brit main all game long. We ended up with about 106 kills and destroyed a half dozen landies, two helos, 3/4 apcs and a few logi trucks. Best round of last night, also had some great fun on basrah too when an insurgent squad assaulted our position by walking into my SAW from 20m away.
Rounds like the ones we had last night where we had everyone in mumble are the ones you play PR for. Definately my favourite server in PR.

Re: Project Mumble Community (Europe)
I would recommend never setting Korengal or lashkar again, or not at least til the DoD on Lashkar is fixed.
I quit from taliban during lashkar when it became obvious the Brits werent able to fight effectively with taliban constantly in their FOB, I enjoyed what I saw of Korengal, but evidently the USA team had got really pissed off with being raped in their main from range that they took it out on the Brits next round.
was a bit disappointed with teh tenseness in teh all chat as well, people getting pissed over taunting

Agreed. It's pretty much dead mid-day and eventually dies as the night sets in, so pretty much all the action happens in the evening.Tartantyco wrote:Needs moar seeders.

Re: Project Mumble Community (Europe)
I was told by an OD-S member that the server is currently being used elsewhere for PRT purposes (or something along those lines) and that soon it'll be back up.

Re: Project Mumble Community (Europe)
corp i agree but:
RT died
PMC died (could be lots of reasons for this)
Mumble events don't fill atm (GOL, UKWF, 4X4 event...)
Even the NATO event last night didn't fill and died really quick at about 2330CET
IDK what's up but looks like mumble servers have had their day.
I don't want to be defeatist or negative I am just trying to be realistic - I enjoy hugely a PR round with lots of mumblers (so much so I hardly play anymore...).
Hopefully BFV and or ARMA/PR will rejuvenate mumble use and I see alot of the old mumble crowd seem to be more on ARMA than PR atm.
@ Joethepro L4gi used this server (His OD-S server renamed) two nights in a row for 'stresstesting' (apparently) one with NATO and another for his clan's battle - I guess that's what you're referring to.

I don't know about anyone else but I miss a decent mumble based server. Those epic RT and PMC matches will never be forgotten.

PMC has been updated. A few more things need fixing and then the server will be playable.
