Hi my cousin orderd battlefield 2 after i told him how good this mod is, but he orderd the original and NOT the one with special forces.

Do you need special forces expansion to play this mod? thanks :D

no you do not, to play, all you need is BF2 with patch 1.5 (and internet access for online play 8-) )

No. No benefits. He can enjoy PR as everyone with pure BF2. :)

Special forces is fun if you like that kind of stuff, but I wouldn't recommend it now with much better games out there, PR and other mods are what make the BF2 experience worth it.

Yeah this mod is great, best mod i have played even. Much better than insurgency for HL2.

I'd say it's different... I sure like the scopes, deploy modes and suppression effects (all of which are hardcoded in PR), but they went for the CS Formula (can't do much with the Source Engine I suppose).

PR teamplay is simply... incomparable.
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D
