[Weapon]AKS-74 and others
I was wondering why every single Russian rifleman used the same rifle, so I was thinking that some riflemen could have a deviation, or if you plan on using Russian marines and paratroopers, they could be using AKS-74Ns with 1P29 scopes or ironsights. Would be a cool feature instead of seeing the same old black rifle every time you pick up a russian kit (no offense DEVs).

Every single Russian rifleman uses the same rifle because you can't have multiple guns randomly chosen for the same kit. So you'd have to have 3-4 different 'Rifleman' kits to have what you propose.

Re: [Weapon]AKS-74 and others
its better to have standard issued weapons for the purposes of organisation IMO for a regular army , which the Russians are in PR. Since regular armies have general purposes , not like special forces ( Alphas or SAS ) or airbourne , marine etc.
this idea would be more plausable for insurgency , but the Beef engine won't permit such a large scale deviation of random weapons for each kit loadout
i find nothing wrong with having a standard loadout , thier given out to each kit for thier purposes. Do we need a medic with a silenced weapon?? , no it is not his job to take out enemies silentely.

The devs could bring back the little switchy-gun button with the two yellow arrows from vBF2 to allow people to choose from a range of weapons in a single kit.

Russians Forces has different versions of the AK because they constantly try to equip their post cold war military so often, but its so large that before the entire armed forces is equipped, a new weapon is being issued out.. AK47.. AK74.. AK101.. AK103.. AK105..myles wrote:i do see pics of russins not being all isued the same rifle as there not as organiesd as most forces
But luckily they've taken the same view as NATO and started to Adopt the 5.56mm Round.. just as we've started looking at 6.5mm and 6.8mm for our rifles haha

Also, the AK-100~ series are only issued to special forces or sold for export, IIRC.

1)AK47 used by Red army in sovet union on 1947-1953!Next version of AK47 is AKM and AKMS!AKMS use 7.62x39 mm round!
2)AK74M - last version for russian army!
AK101 = AK74M for 5.56x45mm NATO rounds(For export)
AK103 = AK74 with big 7.62x39 мм rounds(For export)
AK102 = AK74 with small barrel for 5.56mm Round(Not used)
AK104 = Same with AK102,but use 7.62x39 мм(Not used)
AK105 = Same AK102,but use 5.56 rounds(Not used)
AK107/AK108 = used new gears,use 5.45x39/5.56x45(Not used)

Well today russian army use:

Call of duty has nothing to do with this. I hate how when someone tries to make a suggestion about anything, it relates back to call of duty SOMEHOW.yujie900 wrote:sorry, we are not playing call of duty
Anyway, I say keep it how it is. No point giving people a choice when IRL they hand you your equipment and off you go. You don't go rummaging through the grand weapon pile finding what you like and using it.
