Make Sandbags Indestructible

Post by google »

Well, since the new patch the DEVs gave the .50 cals zoom but still decided to keep the TOWs at 9 missles for maximum spammage. To counter this, I suggest sandbags be made invincible (to TOWs). By this, I mean a missle shouldn't be able to bring the sandbag from it's "built" stage to it's "build" stage. Incendiares should still be able to take them out though. After all, what is the point of cover it can be killed so easily?

i dont think invincible is the right word

but make them able to withstand anything except incendiaries, i hide in fox holes to take cover from bullets and rockets, but LATs take them out, which i think is wrong

Sand can withstand a high velocity missle AND the resulting explosive wave and fire followed?

Seems a tad unrealistic

you would be surprised...

no, but dont you think hard packed sand is a little more stronger then freshly loose snow?.. there's a reason why we build trenches, and bunkers with dirt and sand

yeah because it is ubundant robust and widely available

hiding behind a sandbag and getting shot with a TOW or a missile that is meant to punch through heavy armor foesnt sound like a good idea.

I will believe you if you source :)

as far as i known, only HESCO Bastion will stop heavy AT rocket/missile... but simple sandbags will just blown or fly away due to blast... so makin them "invincible to ATGM" is unrealistic.

Is it because it's cheap and easy?

humm ... No ?

Locking as this is a poor solution to the "problem".

But feel free to propose the testing of your idea to Mythbusters ;)
