You see many years ago there was this cup, there are many stories about this cup but they all involve Jesus Christ, this cup was the holy grail, and was a most blessed cup, all liquid that was put in this cup took on a heavenly taste. This cup was found by an intrepid adventurer who was searching for better coffee beans, a terrible storm forced him to seek shelter in a catholic monestary. He found the cup while he tasted their small repository of coffee beans, unable to find a mug he used the cup to drink his coffee and found that the coffee tasted so good that he wet himself a little. He stole the cup, escaped to canada and started a coffee shop chain making all the coffee from beans that had been placed in the holy grail. Thus, Tim Hortons was born.

Then God invented donuts, and he saw it was good.

Amen.

Once upon a time, Jesus Hortons came on earth... and it rained powdered strawberry timbits.

Not many Canadians know this, but here in Ireland (and I assume in the UK), Tim Hortons have self service stands in every second news agents.

I could go for a cruller right now.

Also, I miss hot apple ciders and the cherry walnut crunch things...those need to come back. It used to be SO GOOD when they made the donuts fresh in-store rather than just baking them from the freezer.
