Play Combat Arms is all you care about is your Kill count, PR satisfaction comes from properly executed coordinated tactics, maneuvers, and communication, IMHO.

What if kills could be verified? Perhaps SL would have to confirm hostile KIA in order for it to be display before round end.

In reality people try to avoid killing people as much as they can. In project reality the kill count often affect my sub conscience in firefights.

If the kill counter i s removed the epipen need to be removed, or you will have to sit on a corps for 5 minutes to be sure that it's dead. It would be too silly...

Don't know where you get that from, people already camp corpses to check that their target is dead but all you need do is secure the area to ensure there are no medics around. Checking your target is down and out is not limited only to the kill counter and removing it would have no effect on this aspect of gameplay.

Varkbrak wrote:I say... remove the Kills counter. I've seen to many blokes grab a SAW and camping somewhere for kills as 40 kills and 3 deaths. They normally do this just for every one to see, but his score is still lower than the rest. To him, it's wanting to show how good he is with a SAW as a lone wolf. Anybody can do the same. That's just annoying.

This happened on =HOG= Muttrah city 24/7 on 3-/24/10 a lone SAW gunner racked up 42 kills just watching the map and working off his friendly line of advance.

He still scored very low on the teamplay bracket and his team lost.

But yes time to nip the sniper/saw/attack helo solo artists in the bud.

I stand with you on this and the SAW is a support weapon to support over watch while the squad moves open over terrain and then to move up once they secured their destination, but to camp somewhere just ticks me off. :-x These campers almost never listen to his SL and just does what he wants to do.

I agree I think reducing acuracy or just plain removing the scope would prevent some camping

Removing the scope would be unrealistic, but making have more recoil like it does in real life would be better. Right now it's smooth as butter. Either more recoil or more deviation per shot. Try doing what you do with an auto rifleman with a G3 or M16. You rounds land beside you ffs =\

Maybe tickets shouldn't be in the game and have some other sort of way to win? gasp.

Well a SAW is ment to be used as a camping weapon sort of. The recoil and accuracy need a huge nerf. the SAW isn't that accurate one and it's also got quite a lot of recoil. even when your laying down.

Also, the acog on the SAWs has a greater magnification then the ACOG's on the M4 and M16, which is ridonculous. It needs to be lowered its around 8-12x rather then 4.

Theres a couple modes like that. I prefer insurgency myself but I'd prefer a win by flag capture in every game.
For some reason it doesnt happen more often so tickets is what stops the game lasting forever

The kill counter is quite often the only way I can tell if I ever hit anyone or not especially since I like the indirect weapons.
Removing it would make it harder to discern if tactics are working or not but maybe it could be all be converted to score so its more merged with non combat team stuff. It needs to be separate now because kills give so little score, so that'd have to change some

what if kill counter system would be like this?:

you shoot somebody but you dont get any kills there until you go to check the body.
so you have to go,lets say 20 meters from the body to get kill on your stats.
its just like that you go confirm the enemy casualty.

hardcoded?

As a
sniper/saw/attack helo solo artist
myself, let me say: there is literally nothing you can do to make me or any of the other lone wolves "want" to interact more with the rest of the team, and trying to design the game to dissuade people like me from playing is stupid. Just because you need to hold hands and sing kumbaya to play this game, or need to fulfil some fantasy by roleplaying as a goose-stepping highly-disciplined soldier, doesn't mean we all do.

Ya know I read this and I was trying to figure out where this snot nosed, vindictive and borderline sociopath attitude was coming from. So I looked into some of your former posts. Then it became clear to me. OOh you hate =]H[= from some incident you had in December where you made the admins mad. And they made you go away. Those meanies

Boy I'm sorry, from reading more of your posts you seem like such a swell guy.

In another post you labeled the entire admin core of =HOG= "douchebags"

Then in another posts you said you quit playing |TG| because you couldn't be bothered to deal with a 3rd party application (mumble) so you can be be "inundated with the voice of morons, rednecks and prepubescent boys."

In a post about CRAZY *** UFear server: "I've used hacks myself before so I know what they do and can generally recognize when people are using them." Surprise surprise

On the 13th of this month you claimed Virgina Mixed USA ]TAR[ "Seemed like a very crappy-run server. Admins were whiny douchebags who banned on a whim and bend the rules to suit them." Followed by some long post with another incident.

These just went on and on.

But ya know what??? You seem like a great guy, I think you're just misunderstood. :-D I'll tellya what I'm gonna send you what is called a "Friend request". Because having friends is what makes the game fun. This stems from: (LOOK AT ME DOEDEL, NOT THE FLOOR) "Being Social"

So accept my friend request and I can be your first pal in your 5 years of being here. Isn't that neat?

Have a great day new buddy!!!
