Re: Big Problems
If you haven't already, try lowering/adjusting your settings until the game runs smoothly. If you can't run it on lowest settings (i doubt that will be the case), or want to be able to run it with higher settings, you should look into upgrading your PC (or buying a new one).
Also, this should probably be in the Tech Support section.

Re: Big Problems
You see, you barely meet the minimum CPU requirements for the un-modded BF2. PR needs at least 2GB of RAM to run smoothly if I recall correctly. Also, the heavier nature of the maps and texture and stuff requires a powerful CPU. I play on a HD2400 and Core2Duo 2.4GHz and 2 GB RAM and I run it on medium (max view distance) and no shadows/dynamic lights/AF/AA...Minimum Specification:
CPU: 1.7 GHz
RAM: 512 MB
Video Card: nVidia GeForce FX 5700, ATI Radeon 8500 or ATI Radeon 9500 with 128 MB of RAM

Re: Big Problems
Your PC simply does not meet the requirements of PR, in fact you will struggle to play any modern video game on that system. The specs on Wikipedia are very very general minimum specs and do not always apply, in many cases you need to far exceed those stated in order to play on max settings with acceptable performance. In particular I am looking at your CPU which is simply not up to the task especially if you have other programs running in the background.

Re: Big Problems
well memory is cheap this days and CPUs the graphics are a bit of a problem with pretty high prices
if you are to get a new computer or new parts i would suggest AMD and ATI or Nvidia for good performance and fairly cheap price
i would suggest getting more memory at least and checking your motherboard with compatibility

.91 is out so you can try that it has quite some fixes iam not sure where you will find older versions
best option would be to upgrade your comp
