Insurgency Underplayed?

Post by -.-Maverick-.- »

Well I don't know if it's just my bad luck, but I can't remember the last time I played a good ol' insurgency map like: Ramiel, Al Basrah or Fallujah West. Ok I have seen Al Basrah a couple times but mostly on some unpopular servers with no teamwork, on the other hand I haven't played Ramiel for centuries and I would really like to. Is this the situation with you as well?

I always see atleast 3 insurgency maps on populated servers during peak time, at the moment there are 4 INS maps on servers with 30+ , including ramiel and 2 fallujah wests

Not experienced that at all, if I want to play Insurgency I never have a problem finding a game although i've not played Korengal in a while :(

"I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for 12 hours. When it was all over, I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

TMP plays Ramiel, Al Basrah, and Karbala regularly. Not so much with Korengal, however. We also throw in a bit of Op. Archer too, because that seems to be a favorite of lots of people :P

insurgency maps require alot of effort :) servers that are actively adminned are careful when to put them on, AAS maps are more reliable for a good game, though insurgency is alot of fun for both sides imo :)

True, there is nothing better then a team on mumble making a Humvee convoy and rolling into the city while there's 10 rpgs firing from every direction.

And also

I believe a better translation of the entire saying would be more like:

"Taste is like an ***, its divided"

It just doesn't work as good in English though.

Shame, korengal is a great map. Yesterday was the first time I played it since .9 update. I was even surprised, I thought it was removed. And we had a great game as US side.

i think insurgency on the most public servers isnt fun anymore since there are too many chopper crashers, snipers that crawl around nowhere and so on, and you rly need teamwork to win an ins map

You tell 'em gazz

I have been avoiding korengal valley, but in the past few days I've played Karbala and Fallujah West quite a bit. I'd like to see more operation archer, but otherwise I'm quite happy with what's available.

indeed... I didnt see Ramiel often lately though.
Most times Gaza and Basra.

I'd like to play ramiel though, but without Insurgency. I dont like that game mode much.
