yeah, the post count rank should NOT have anything to do with any kind of in game ranking we will or wont have

i really like the monthly forum announcement about top team work score. This way the people who get this mention will have the respect they deserve in game

I meant postcount ≅ game knowledge.

Otherwords, who do you think could shoot better IRL, generally, a 22-year-old seargent or a 60-year-old General?

But who would know the nuts and bolts better on commanding a team?
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Servers that had/have ABR suffered from players wanting to be at the top of the server scoreboard which could be viewed through game-tracker or their clan website. To gain a bunch of points, they'd build FOB's for the hell of it and build **** that wasn't needed just to gain points.

The only way to make that work out well would be to only track win/loss ratio. That way the people who play only for stats will be determined to help the team win above all else.

What do the R-Devs and R-Mods think about this monthly top teamwork score on the forum? Possible? Impossible? Like it?

Wanna do this to me..?

Ugh, I'd rather not see any type of stat tracking. Isn't working to see your squad as the best at the end of the round good enough?

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

Inside our PR group we have a Personal reports, something like a profile where its registered some skills. BUT this skills its not the same that ingame score, we report manually at the end of all weekends the teamwork points, rounds that have participated, the asistence to our forums, and more...

After we had a mathematical formula that give to us a range. With this u can to aim to some specializations inside the group if vacancies will come.

This is the only way possible to have stats, cause we have old players and know what we want. IMO always.

Stat tracking is a horrible idea for PR. Its not about the kills or points, its about the team. Sometimes a soldier will lay down his life to protect anothers, it what happens. To add a KDR would eliminate the people defending an area for strategic POS for the teams good. If you want to brag play CoD or vanilla, if you want teamplay and intense battles, play PR

ok, completely scratch the K/DR idea. But what about the W/LR, or the monthly forum post of TEAMWORK score i believe that's the second column when you look on the in game scoreboard

I want to know what you guys think about those two idea's specifically

It does not have to be ABR or MBR. Simply a page on the site showing hours played with kits, teamwork points etc etc. Instead of focusing on competitive stats, i.e ingame ranks, achievement's, simply a external web page to show time played etc. Maybe even built into PRspy.

Well, if you built 5 FOBs as a lone-wolf squad you get the most points in teamwork. So I don't think this would work.

I think that the lack of a leaderboard/stat tracking keeps people involved in teamwork. One might give suppressing fire for his squad if he has the mindset, "It's about the team", rather than the mindset "If I get up and die, my KDR will look bad." It would no longer be about teamwork, but your own personal achievement. I think a tracked KDR would force people to play selfishly in an effort to maintain a good ratio. Definitely not a good idea.

Generally servers kick for 1 manned locked squads. But ok, that's your vote

I said SCRATCH the K/DR idea. That means it's a bad idea and not to use it
