Squad Leaders and civis at once

So i did noticed Meany times that Squad Leaders are often civilians at once on INS maps is it that point less?
yesterday i woes playing fallujah 4 of 8 squad leaders were civilians and and only 1 of 8 SL had SL kit :shock:



is it that if coalition arrests that sort of player they gain 10 intel points for resting civi and + next 10 for arresting Squad Leader - i mean the seam person witch is SQ and civi at once ?

and next situation if they kill (CIVI SL) is it like for coalition - 10 intel and + 10 for kiling SQ = 0 intel points?

im rely confused :? :

You know longer gain intel for killing SLs from what i know of.

I think they do that so they can give intel to their squad mates, and providing medical care. And using it as bait for the blufor troops. As I got ambushed once by a squad because we were all in a trigger/restrain happy mood.

How could they be giving intel to the insurgents if they are insurgents?

I like doing it cause i can put my guys on roofs and they can't leave, forces their ADD asses to stay put and guard what i tell them too, and what insurgent is going to pass up a roof position!

I also can feed Intel from high roofs on movement and put markers on BLUFOR movement while having my hands up.

AFAIK you get intel by killing people with the SL kit?
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

You don't need the map markers for intel, I think he means that the SL would get info about the surrounding battle and then tell his squad this all whil hopefully not getting shot or having a blufor soldier chase him to the squad.

+1 killing insurgent
+10 arresting (restrainer -> punch in your face ;) )
+10 arresting civi (shotgun/restrainer)

thats pretty much it..

Telling via the commander where enemies are and to his squad mates. Because some of the U.S. or British troops don't give s sh1* about civiliands, and start shooting or just walk straight past them. And it's intel in the way of enemy positions, not the intel you get as BLUFOR about cache locations.

I think another factor is a lot of people don't like the ironsight G3 so after maybe spamming out a couple of hideouts they usually switch to an AK. At least from what I hear that is the reason you see few insurgent SLs actually using the Officer kit.

Simple, you still get your radio(phone) and are able to give medical aid, and SL at the same time. You can also scout ahead and look for enemy, or be bait =D
