0.25 was when I started actually playing, tried a version before that but I have no idea which one. 0.25 was great compared to nilla though

i first started playing the 0.874 version. i heard about the mod on one croatian forum and checked out the vids on you tube. i liked what i saw and playing it since then.

i remember the first time i played muttrah as USMC. taking of the carrier with my squad, flying into combat. That round every time i died i spawned on the carrier just to fly in the chopper

I joined as of v0.91, when I first heard of it. I had just recently re-installed BF2 after an FPS hiatus, and was eager to try out some of the well appraised mods.

This one, of course, is the most appraised mod. All of the other mods were just BF2 with new weapons and factions or more damge done (which I liked, made sniping a viable tactic) but this, this was on a whole different level and brings about a totally different experience. I wasn't prepared at first for the gameplay, but I quickly caught on and find myself immersed in my various game roles almost every time I join a server.

same here i think though as soon as ai downloaded 0.85 came out so i then downloaded that and i think that was around when PR was advertised on vBF2 opening screen

---> i was angry about this damn lb crashing @ takeoff, followed by teamchat spam like: "rtfm" "rtfm²"...
after studying the manual pr was & is still great.

Started not long ago with the 0.909 version

Was tired from all the unserius players on vBF2, so I stumbled over this mod and really love the reality aspect, and how good random people work together in the squads
