Re: Trojan removal
Stopsign.com will find the name of the virus. Then you will have to remove it yourself. Or buy stopsign. Stop sign is the best antivirus their is. Because if the program doesn't fix it. They will give you a custom cleaner to fix. Its guaranteed or your money back.

Re: Trojan removal
AVG free is also a fantastic anti virus software and i have had no problems whatso ever with it.

I am using AVG I think I fixed it but I am not sure I ran 3 virus scans and it found it each time, but the lucky thing is that it is only on one file so It won't be affecting any other files.Hitperson wrote:AVG free is also a fantastic anti virus software and i have had no problems whatso ever with it.

Re: Trojan removal
theres a chance it will pick up multiple infected files.
just keep running it till it comes out clean.
another good program is "malwarebytes anti malware"

Re: Trojan removal
If you still have it, get Avast and set it to scan before windows boots, has helped me fix quite a few virus's that were persistent.

If that doesn't help either get HijackThis, boot into normal mode and post the log here.
