I have been play PR for quite a long time, and im a VIOP user, and never had this problem before. My mic always works, and still works, using a steelseries 5HV2 headset mic. Well when im on skype with some friends, no problems, but specifically in PR, when i press my VIOP button, everyone hears extreme heavy static sounds. So i went to check my settings, the moment i clicked test microphone threshold, i heard extreme heavy static. Then I thought it was my mic having some problems, thus i unplugged the mic from the port, well if there is no mic input, that means no VIOP output right? I click test mic threshold again and ZZZZZZZZZ static was still extremely loud again.
Any idea how this can be fixed?
