So, my friend's been a big BF2 fan for like, the longest time and I've decided to try it. I successfully install Bf2 and everything works. However, once I install both parts to the Project Reality mod, I get the following message :

Error detected : Default controls restored, please make sure to re-edit your controls if needed from Project reality menu.

And from then on, i can't open either Project Reality or BattleField 2.

Also, I was told that I needed to install the patch 1.41 but that crashes at around 3%.

Any suggestions for both problems are greatly appreciated.

delete all off your bf2 and do a reinstall

first install patch 1.41 then install 1.5 and then the PR setups
