Hi. I think that PR needs the railgun. We all know the Navy has them, and a practical demonstration has been shown in this clip
It should be pretty easy to implement, all you need to do is reskin the SAW, or deployable TOW because they already serves the same purpose.
Thoughts?
Also, I searched Railgun, and Gauss rifle. No results.

uhm, you ARE kidding right?
Transformers= Sci-fi, NOT REALITY
Sure, the US military may have railguns, but they're top secret and wouldn't be used in conventional warfare

Re: Railguns
Erm...
1) The railgun shown in that clip is nothing like the real-life railguns. They cannot be man-portable and are mounted on Navy ships due to the fact of how big they are.
2) *points to chickens post* THIS IS NOT TRANSFORMERS, and that clip shows little to no real life practicality.. (shooting robots? err..?)
3) They're still experimental and not used in real life situations at all so, that already defeats any chance of implementation.

Re: Railguns
Speed of a Railgun projectile: ~3500 m/s
Speed Limit of BF2 engine: 1500 m/s (If I recall correctly)
Railguns are still in the development, they are currently trying to solve problems with how the weapon system handles wear.
PS I hope this was a joke

You best be Trollin'
Seriously, closed until further notice. Provide a reptuable source showing that such weapons are currently being used in the role you suggest and the lock will be reconsidered.

The key to modernising any weapon is covering them in glue and tossing them in a barrel of M1913 rails until they look "Modern" enough.
