So I got this while loading the new Lashkar Valley skirmish on TG. Problem after damn problem isn't it?
Anyways, I found some "how to fix" guides here and on the net, but they're all for Vista. How do I fix this for XP?

Interestingly enough, when I was trying to fix a studdering problem I did both of those -- but BEFORE the memory problem.
I'm going to try again.

I'm still getting this on certain map loads. Does memory require drivers or something...

Drop some settings down should help. The light maps (shadows) eat a lot of ram.
Check out tweakguides Go to Display Mode on page 5 to see screen-shots of each setting (low, med, high)
Systems bottelnecked ?
Go to your bios and check the max size data block is set for your video card (4896? or in that ballpark)
( data block is the work load the CPU sends to video card)
Your graphics card can only work as fast as your CPU can allocate it information. So a fast graphics card will typically perform better on a system with a faster CPU. In fact many high-end graphics cards are artificially bottlenecked because they are on a system with a CPU that is not fast enough to allocate data to them. In contrast, the higher the resolution and graphics settings for a game, the less important the CPU becomes as the bulk of the work will be done by the graphics card. The bottom line is the CPU is still the linchpin of your entire system.
Good luck

Sorry for the slow response.
I don't think it's the textures. Hardware wise I haven't changed anything from the last release (.8 something), and I ran everything on high then with absolutely no problems.
