No CD

I have an old 5 year old BF2 box and i left my disk at my buds house but i have my box with me and the cd key. Anyway i can DL it online with only that?

There is a thing called EA Download Manager, that can be used to register games you already own, and download online versions of them, but I think your 5 year old game is too old for that. Last time someone tried to switch from cd to download version, he was told the item to be registered has to be less than one year old.

If you are searching for the cd because you need to do complete (re-)install, you might be out of luck. But if you have working BF2 installation, you can use BF2 v1.5 patch to remove original disc requirement.

However

Just so y'all know the game is not installed on my computer and i can't find the disk. Do i need anything for that mini disk thing?

Mini disk image can't be used for installation. It's use was to avoid having to have a CD/DVD in the drive in order to play. Since you have a valid online account you can simply download the online version from EA for free. You will need to download and install the EA Download Manager
