Re: insurgency cache idea
Maybe make it so that you can't see the cache markers until you spawn in?

Re: insurgency cache idea
Wouldn't that be the point, to make them incredibly hard to attack? The commander option to destroy would only be used if some tard intentionally glitches it into a wall etc.myles wrote:When i say hard to attck i mean incredbliy hard to attck. and i dont think the commander would want to blow up hi own cache
You have to remember that both sides have ropes, if INS can get there, so can Bluefor. Bluefor also has the range advantage with better optics. Placeable caches would be no harder to attack than a well placed FOB.

I see where you are going with this. To say it simply, you can not completely stop cheating. No way, no how. The insurgents need to know where the caches are at some point to defend and rearm. Once a site is known, the cheating may occur. Your suggestion misses one vital fact: at some point, even if neither side knows the exact cache location, once anyone finds it, the location can be broadcast to the opposing team.illidur wrote:im talking about my suggestion, the hidden cache idea. you wouldn't want people spawning on the spot where the cache was because then a monkey could figure out "hey the cache is here cus i spawned here"

Re: insurgency cache idea
im going with a proposed way to "reduce" cheating by completly stopping the ability to tell the enemy the cache location and not effect gameplay too much. however you can defend and rearm using the method i mentioned which isn't much different then now. the exact coordinate cannot be known by insurgents ever. and even if the blufor did tell the insurgent team they know where it is. how does that help either side? (if its possible)the insurgents wouldn't be able to see the cache at all at any point in time. all you get is a marker showing the general area to defend/ambush.'= wrote:H[=CubCadet1972;1354385']I see where you are going with this.
