For our planned campaign project we want to include the Al Kufrah Oilfield map that has been dropped out the map list in the newest PR.
I took a look at the files and the only "fatal" differences were the levelsettings in the init.con that are handled different now. I changed them to the new system. Also, I replaced the vehicles on the map with "current" vehicles. Did nothing more because everything else seemed fine and it works flawlessly when creating a LAN server.
However, after uploading it to our server and trying to connect there, the client crashes as soon as the "Verifying client data" stuff starts. I have absolutely no idea what the cause for this is and I also was not able to debug this problem so I could get a helpful logfile or anything.
Does anyone have an idea what could cause problems during "Verifying client data"?

if your not getting any error in windowed mode, try the debugger: SELF HELP (Please read First) - Official BF Editor Forums

I'm aware of the debugger. That's what I meant with I was unable to retrieve a valuable log file. Connecting online with a debugger is a no-no and thus I can't get a helpful debug log. And windowed mode crashes the same, without a popup error. Server doesn't report anything unusual either...
