Cache spawns

Post by cocobutter333 »

Is it me or have Cahe spawns have made insurgency really unfair for opfor, ive seen two caches spawn in the small compound in B3 on Karbala at the start of the round. Predictably the US just pounded it from afar with the tank and strykers, the inf didnt even have to move in. Ive also seen caches spawn in the open with no cover on Al basrah, Karbala and Gaza

as well as caches spawning too close to one another they are also commonly being destoyed by accident or chance e.g a LB does a straif or a stray tank round takes them out.

in addition to the 25 tickets they recieve this can tend to make the reound brief and over powered for the US

last two nights on tactical gamer north america server (awesome server):
two days ago the revealed cache spawned at castle on archer, the whole team was defending the castle. result: after an hour it was teamkilled by accident with the insurgents having an awesome KD.
yesterday one cache spawned in the northwestern cave on lashkar, a cache which is absolutly unattackable, after half an hour, like 10 kills, we started playing songs on mumble, likewise beavis and butthead and a lot of random jerking i went off the server

so yes, its a lot about luck, but neither side got an advantage...

I have never seen them spawning in places like that. Maybe it's just you. But i think you should contact the DEV team and hopefully they fix the problem.

Yeah, the action in the Lashkar cave was awesome  At one point they even had thier APC drive INTO the cave to try and take it out. They failed :-)

Gennerally i would say no, it has not become more unfair. Its all just very random.

Iv also seen this happen way to often also had a cache spawn at my feet as blufor more than you would think.

Game mode has become a luck of cache locations decide who wins and has nothing to do with who has the best team and is it me or is there a whole lot more stuipid cache spawn locations than there once was?

I like it when caches spawn near each orher so you don't have to leave one undefended or split ur team between the 2 caches

With the introduction of the UAV i don't think caches should ever be spawning in a location visible to the air. There needs to be some consistency in their placement. Losing a round due to unlucky cache placement isn't fun for anyone.

Last night on Hardcore Insurgency on Ramiel the cache spawned underground in a fountain making it impossible to destroy.
