[0917] civi and water

Hi all ^^,

I noticed (in many servers like chicago harcorem, NWA, ABC) when you spawn with civilian kit (you can pickup another kit but it' s unless, this bug appeares if you spawn with civilian kit), when you go in the water (for example the rivers in al basrah) you got dameged if you go in the water, and the damage continue until you die. I want know if other people noticed this "bug".

its not a bug, its to keep civilians from going into the water so soldiers cant arrest them

Civies can be arrested with a shotgun nowdays, so this no-swimming feature should be removed.

Yeah, but what if the Civi swims 150m off shore? You're going to go through a lot of slugs to try and plug the guy. So, I think that's why they haven't removed the feature. Or else add a RHIB for each Insurgency map with water that goes outside of the shotguns effective range.

Why the hell would he do that anyways?

Also there are no big shores in any insurgent map at all. This feature should be removed IMO.

No need to punish the civis if someone blows up the bridges!
Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

Let him hang there :) It's one guy off the field and from helping enemies. If he ever comes back, he'll be an easy catch.
