constant CTDs
Hi I'm new to this forum. I installed pr about last month and it worked fine, then all of a sudden, when I would attempt to load a map, I would instantly get a desktop crash. I have since then realized that I needed to patch original Bf2 to 1.41, then 1.5. I have done this, and other suggestions including lowering my graphics settings, but to no avail. If someone could give me a solid fix to this problem that I'm sure others are encountering, I would be grateful. -Toki

also forgot to mention, my computer has a graphics card/ram spec that can run this mod no problem, as I have been able to play it in the past with no crashes whatsoever and I have made no changes to the pc's hardware at all

When looking for answers please follow these simple steps.

Often the quickest way to find what your looking for when you have an error message.
#3. Please remember to include your basic PC info in your post
You have spent some time trying to help yourself without any luck, so your ready to ask for help:
Please include your basic PC info in your post :
Operating system = XP, Vista etc.
systems specks = cpu/speed, ram installed, video card/video ram on card,type of monitor
network setup = cable, 4 port 10/100/1000 d- link gamers lounge/ wired connection.
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.
The more info you can give the better your chance of getting a quick answer back.
You don't have to write a book,
but your basic PC info is needed to help you.

Some pc specs: intel celeron D 3.46 GHz cpu, core speed around 3460 MHz, elitegroup model 945GCT-M3 motherboard, 2 crucial ddr2 1gb sticks of ram, ati radeon 3600 series graphics card with 512mb of memory.
As for when the ctds happen, right whenever I click on a server I instantly ctd. I am not even able to load the map. I tried running as administrator, but when I do this, the splash screen loads and then nothing happens, so that is actually a step backwards. I treid uninstalling/reinstalling punkbuster as I heard this caused problems, but to no avail as well. As i previously mentioned, I was able to play pr before with my computer specs and everything worked fine, but just recently, it is doing this.
