Insurgents Opening Door
My suggestion is basically that anything locked (doors, gates) can be entered by using 'E'.
WHY because in insurgency you kind of know what bulding a cache is going to be in (a building with a door im talking about) as if the door is closed nothing is going to be in there as insurgents wouldn't be able to get out so you can kind of figure out if it is a possible cache building or not. And its quite annoying knowing that when you breach a door you dont have to be ready for some action inside.
entering by pressing E the door does not open but you enter like a vechicle

Re: Insurgents Opening Door
While we would love to do that the work that goes into making a single door open and close with the "E" key is really hard and time consuming.

When your an insurgent and you want to get in or out of a buliding that has a brechable door all you have to do is hit 'E'. For example i go from the door from the outside Hit 'E' and i apper in the room. visa versaboilerrat wrote:I don't understand your suggestion, could you re-word it?

Ahh I understand what you mean now. I think that would not look to great that a guy warps to the other side of the door.

Maybe you could have to hold E for a few seconds to simulate you ducking down and slipping between the chains instead of it being instant.

True but that just visually odd as oppose to visually and gameplay odd.[R-DEV]Eddie Baker wrote:Well, guys already warp in and out of vehicles.
It seems like more problems then its worth. But not a bad recommendation.

just make it as said before the guy waits like 5 seconds then gets in the house and have him like have his hand on the Door knob

also make bullets go through said doors, lets face it mospt of the doors you see on PR houses arnt going to stop bullets(nades will bounce off as normal). so that way people cant just jump inside for protectionmyles wrote:just make it as said before the guy waits like 5 seconds then gets in the house and have him like have his hand on the Door knob

Re: Insurgents Opening Door
if they can only be open by insurgents (which I think is possible) then that'd be awesome.
Of course it'd look odd if you're about to breach and an insurgents pops outside but if you're breaching correctly he should get dropped in a second.
It'd be worth it to make Coalition forces feel more afraid about breaching through doors because there could be insurgents on the other side who didnt need to blast a hole in the door to get there
small change that could make things much more interesting

Re: Insurgents Opening Door
Thats what i meant only by insurgents. guys if you think about it shotguns(BLUFOR) are really only used to take point and kill civis with shotguns. At gates usally people rope over rather than shoot when serching for caches thers no point of checking the doors that our closed as usally the cache bulidngs have the door open already for insurgents to get out and even when you are breaching a door it fells so dull as their is going to be no fighting so it also puts realism down as no 1 really has to take defensive postions or catuion.Sadist_Cain wrote:if they can only be open by insurgents (which I think is possible) then that'd be awesome.
