[Request] Pictures of Kunduz

I'm working on a map which will be set in Kunduz...

so i need some detail pictures of the city (no oveviews or city maps-got them from googleEarth already)

i tried to find good pictures of houses, streest, sights and so on, but i just found military reports and pictures...

if you have a look the the map of kunduz city you can see a very big cross in the middle... that is what i'm very interested on


would be nice if you can post some links to good sites or send me some pics

have you tried searching via flikr or photobucket.

you can always try contacting the kunduz tourist council or local government.
just tell them you are doing a school/uni project on the city and you'll have them eating out of your hand.

ok, i contactet the german embassy in afghanistan and they sent me some pictures and information about kunduz, but its a bit few...

so i'm still dependet on your help

well they send me 4 pics which were made through bullet-proof glass of a driving mercedes...

Did you try google maps with the pictures extra enabled?

Found a few pics, not the best but it's a try.

searched on google, flikr, photobucket, visualintel and some kunduz pages, military sites and so on... no really good pictures of the city itself only people and desert -.-

Use google earth. I actually DLed it just to see if there are any pics at all. While I did found pics I'm not sure which area you need exactly so you might wanna look into it yourself

well i used google earth for overview pics...but now i need detailed pics of the city itself

so if you anything (houses, streets, market, important buildings, sights) just pm me or post 'em here
