Boats on Beirut
Feedback or suggestion?
It'd be nice if the russians got some boats on their cargoship. It would be much better if there was, because if no one is flying trans, and no one's ferrying people in APC's, alot of infantry get stuck on the ship. Rather than APC's and choppers being abandoned once serving their transportation purpose, it would be better if there were boats for the Russians.
Dont know if it would be "realistic" for the russians to have the same speed boats as the USMC, but it's an idea.
Didn't see it already suggested either

if your team is without any transport, and you have a squad on the ship....Rather than APC's and choppers being abandoned once serving their transportation purpose,
maybe you should run transport lol?

I don't really understand why people think boats are stealthy in PR.sovietpolarbear wrote:but ya that would be nice going stealth on the factory
they are black, against a blue background, they make a hell of alot of noise, and they move fast with spray coming out the back.
sounds more like you'd be going anti-stealth on the factory to me ;P

Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.

How about make the unarmed version of the BRDM not require a crewman kit.

It doesn't, neither do the BTR-80's.Excavus wrote:How about make the unarmed version of the BRDM not require a crewman kit.

Course there are boats on the cargoship.
Its just so unfortunate that they sink if you try to power them too early.

Re: Boats on Beirut
I have been on a couple of servers where the pilots would only transport certain squads and the APCs will leave without anyone,so i would say it would be a better thing to have at least 5 boats.

Best line yet...
Me: "Hey APC, Can I get a ride to squad 6?"
Unknown: "This APC ain't no Taxi!"

Re: Boats on Beirut
Perhaps they shouldn't have the Factory as one of the capture points. That would give the IDF less reason to sit and basically camp the oceanside from the ONLY spot that APCs can get ashore. Plus, that will also give the "pilots" more incentive to fly, as they will have a decently open area to land and have less worries about being shot down right after take-off. On that note, if you're one of the snot-nosed brats that likes to take a SAM and shoot the Russian helos on the deck of the ship before they take off, that's bullshit and it needs to be cut out. I've gotten to playing regularly on a server that bans players for that, but I still see it happen.

APC's can make landfall at docks, and the whole beach area round it and Coastal Apartments.darkside12 wrote:That would give the IDF less reason to sit and basically camp the oceanside from the ONLY spot that APCs can get ashore.
