Commander ticket loss question

Post by Volt00000001 »

I couldn't find it in the manual or somewhere else but is it true that if your commander dies in the field you lose 10 tickets ?

Welcome to the forums,

Not sure about this one, if it was like that though it would be pretty cool, Although it probably would not stop the commanders that think they are rambo when they go and make a 1337 FOB behind enemy lines :-?

Guys, when a new player comes, just answer his question and go on your merry way, instead of going berserk! It's THAT simple! :D

If that happened the guy was commanding the last match I was in died at least over five and we had about 30 tickets left and he died twice so I am sure that one isn't true.

You don't lose 10 but you do lose 1

Only one ticket lost by dying as a commander.

However I do agree a team should lose more tickets by losing it's CO... To represent the "loss of a leader".

I'd only agree with that if there were some "ticket bonus" to having a commander or to following orders eg. if you die within 20m of commander placed move marker you only lose a half ticket.

Or just leave it as is...commanding is hard enough

By re-scaling: double the available tickets and ticket loss. The 1/2 ticket loss would become 1 ticket.
(Not saying it should be done; just that it's possible.)

Yeah, I was thinking that as well but I guess the admins prefer kicking instead of figuring out whether something is true or not.

This myth probably stems from when an insurgent commander used to give 10 intel points instead of 1 when killed.

Either way it's good that it only counts for 1 ticket, commanders are rare enough as it is.
