Pubber just a name for noob?

Public players can be the best teamplayers in the world, BUT if you put 64 public players together without a clan, tournament or anything, it will end in a mess most of the time - or at least on the team level.
Squad level usually works fine.

So I use the term for uncoordinated teams, not players...

i dont think in any way it means noob. I think that becuase, i recorded proof one time =P

Alot of times- sure, pubbers can be noobs. But hey, im a pubber, and im not awful at the game =P
I like to taunt the enime (could never spell this word...), and im not the best SL- but i know my role when i play one.


pubbers are usually new (not always, i myself am an exception) but they can also bend together and help each other.



like i said(if you been on the forums a while, you might have seen this)- its the video i mentioned in a game almost 100% full of pubers.
I cant remember if we had a CO or not, but it was a bunch of squads, all being organized, but not really communicating with each other. We all had one common goal. We had to push to take the flag, the eneime wanted to take our last flag.

The word pubber for me just means that you aren't in the same clan that runs whatever server you are in.

However I don't refer regular non-clan members as pubbers. I just call them regulars.

from lithiums first post in the thread id say the people he has listed have all made smutty remarks towards "pubbers" at some point if not regularly to mean people they regard as noobs.. Id consider myself a pubber since even though i may be in a clan im not a big fan of match playing and i find theres too many egos flying around in places like PRT not to mention that you can often feel quite isolated in these match environments due to the amount of elitism going on it just feels like a gated community.

There should be some type of community tags (not a clan) Just somthing that only forum goers would know about as one of my pet hates is when I join a squad the SL instantly assumes im a noob and takes it upon himself to explain every detail of the game (wrong mostly)I allways have to say look iv been playing 5 years wich thay than reply oh ok

Pubbers are just players that don't want to join a clan, or don't know of them yet. I'm sure clan members use it to talk down to certain players, as maybe just being above a noob.

yeah some clans are really insular for various reasons, some good, some bad. I remember in iGi we used to spread out through the team as squad leaders etc, a little bit of leadership and a squad of veterans or a squad of newer players can coordinate to do great things

Nowadays you get shouted at for clanstacking when 3 members of a clan lead 3 squads working together...

I'm a pubber and neaver had an issue with it. I like this "independent" gameplay style. I meet loads of fun people in my squads, "pubs".

If I had to rank my top 10 best all-round players, they would probably be 90% without a formal clan right now.

And in my experience, people without any clan tags are more willing to do as I say as a SL, more willing to learn. Clanplayers on the other hand seem to specialize in roles on the battlefield, mastering a single role, have more tactics in mind and so on.

So if I can choose, my squad and team is a mix of all sorts. Both pubbers and clan players. We can also handle a few new players. Show them the ropes, keep an eye on them.
