delayed reaction in mods only?

Post by haxfar »

Hi, i quit new here, so if this is an inappropriate place, then please tell where to post it. :o ops:

Anyways, after a reinstall of Windows XP, i've installed BF2 again and patched it first to 1.41 then 1.5.
After that i installed PR 0.9 and FH2. For some reason ingame in the mods (not very often in vanilla), some of my inputs get delayed or not seemingly registered at all. Other times i've empty a hole mag out in thhe air, without pressing fire.

I'm really interested in knowing how to solve this, as both are great mods.

Sounds like a problem with your connection. Moved to technical support.

The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory. Someday this war's gonna end... "

in my nvidia control panel there is an option called pre rendered frames, the description says it can be changed if you encounter delayed input, but I've never had the problem myself.

I recommend you post your hardware so people can see what might be going wrong :)

Is this good enough? CPU-Z Validator 3.1

At first thought i wold think it is a driver conflict, but things worked fine before my reinstall of windows.
Then that there isn't enough to handle it, but again, it ran fine before.
Don't have any problems in other games, and it's mostly with mods it occurs...

your CPU is at 1.8 GhZ?

Might be that.

Press control Alt Delete, check how many proccesses are runnning in the background, if there are over 30, then search the NAME.EXE and see if its an important process, if it is dont delete it, it its not delete it.

Doesn't seem like a have a problem, if PR is the first thing i play when i start my pc...

Actually, it might have been because i should restart my pc first... :o ops:

Ok, that was too early to say that... Under all circumstances, the problem really only start appearing, if i've used my computer to something else before starting PR up... :? ??:

yeah your PC doesn't really cut the mustard for PR really.

somthing to remember is that mods are often more resource heavy due to higher quality models and such. so will require a more beefed up PC than the regular BF2 requirements.
