Commander UAV sound bug

When ever I get into a uav 5-10 minutes later I get this annoying sound were it sounds like someone is breathing into his Mic and a mix of that fuzzy tv sound when no channel is on.
I know its not a squad leader doing this because if they talk to me a mic icon would appear.
Can someone tell me what the hell this is?

More info needed. What map, which side were you commanding on that map?

I, for one, have never heard this before.

I haven't heard it recently but in older versions if you zoomed too far in you got a sound loop, in all CO posts but the MEC one had some guy in the background w/ the sniffles.
About every 10 seconds or so you could hear a muted sniffling noise plus the constant radio traffic similar to in the jets.

I have the same problem

When I fly the UAV, some random static feedback noise comes on for 1-2 seconds

it's sooo annoying, loud, and distracting

The reason you don't find it because there is rarely a commander in any PR server

Agreed, I hate it when I am commander and I have to take off my headset because of that annoying static that pops up randomly when searching on the UAV.

glad to hear im not the only one with this problem, for the longest time i thought it was just something wrong with my sound card

For me it happens on nearly all maps when there is some sound FX going down on the ground. I think it has to do with APC firing, or at least that is one of the causes. Happened to me today on Jabal.
