Well yeah, but also about what I have said earlier. I mean if you spot a lone infantryman and want to take him out, go ahead, but I don't think it's logical for a commander to be designating lone infantrymen as targets for an A10.El_Vikingo wrote:The one's voting no, are thinking of when there are enemy tanks coming in, and the A10 fucks off to kill individual lonewolves.

Why not? If there was nothing more pressing IRL, and the city was clear for free firing, I'm sure he'd go ahead and designate those targets.

Eh, ok. I guess we agree to disagree. I think they would try to avoid the kind of destruction an A10 causes for just one or two guys if the guys weren't very important targets, or they would be ignored altogether. I would think they would send in choppers or even troops to clear them out. I don't have any actual military experience. My thought process is coming from games and what I see on the military, discovery, and history channel. I'm just trying to be logical.JP*wasteland.soldier wrote:Why not? Re: Commanding A-10s
For any air assets really, I assess the % of which they will succeed and not die. It's risk vs reward.
I'm not going to tell the A-10 to attack a single sniper when there's an AA-BRDM in the area.
However, I would send him in if there were 3 tanks in a tight cluster killing all of the infantry.
