[HELP] Shiny ingame terrain

[SOLVED]
In the editor it is fine but ingame I get this shiny texture:

What have I missed for this to happen.

thats awesome :P

looks like you've envmapped your terrain, I'm not sure how you did that, in your ground properties (where you select your detail and color textures) did you select envmap?

I think this function is only meant to be used for puddles or something.

Yes I did have envmap selected. Ive disabled it now on all textures but it's still shiny ingame.
Ill just poke around with some things to see if I can get it working right.

Got it working. Just had to paint a bit so I could save the terrain with the envmap disabled.

Ye it didn't work since you didn't resave your complied terrain.

You shouldn't go around clicking buttons you dont understand :p

You can always search for the setting on the editor forums ;)

If you look in the little tool tip bit at the bottom you will see the properties is called "GroundProperties.SetEnvMap"

And normally if you would search the setting on the editor forums you would find out what it dose thou in this case there is no info :p

What its used for is special materials to make things like puddles etc, like thous on Zatar wetlands etc :)
