I'm really looking forward to this, I have at least one WIP map that will benefit from these :)

though I think maps like Kozeslk will benefit hugely.

will this mean that maps like Fools road will have their destructable bridges returned?

Well..on the one hand, awesome, bridges, now the tank isn't stuck!

On the other hand, awesome, bridges that can only be deployed on certain, easy to see, easy to ambush areas!

End result? More ambush areas :D
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

The only winning move is not to play. Insurgency, that is.

More ambush areas = less choke points = harder to predict where the enemy are going to come from which = less successful ambushing.

Amazing, I think this adds to the increasing need for a squad dedicated to logistical support.

Thank you for your time and effort for this!

wow i am really impressed with this, and PR overall; its quality improves each update development. realistic for Al Basrah with British forces. this will weaken the effectiveness of insurgent mines, ieds, and bridge ambushes. this should be cause for an adittional insurgent feature that increase their battle effectiveness so to keep the balance.

ye but to get round it you have to put a lot of teamwork into making a bridge and then crossing it is a ***** too. Most of the time you will still see players crossing the normal bridges because they are just the easiest option.

I know I do. :|

Especially on Jabal where the North Bridge is a vital asset that can't be lost.

Also I build FOs with sole intents of playing defensively while other squads attempt an attack.
