Exactly! We made a civi caravan once and confused an American tank, as well as both teams. We distracted them for about ten seconds whilst they fell about laughing as the car caravan drove slowly down the middle of the fire fight and then the tank proceeded to take most of us out.mosinmatt wrote:I hate people that waste the insurgent cars. They jump in and one man them, then lose them right away, or dump them somewhere.
Those things can be used as improvised guntrucks and drive by IEDs. Or as a "taxI" going back and forth from the main or spawn location to get guys to the frotn faster.
Dont one man them!

Re: The roles that are "hated"
snipers are awesome, just last night i covered my squad's advance onto a cache picking off several RPG wielding rag heads before they could kill off the APC.
now mind you that was my first time touching the sniper kit for a long time, i usually avoid it since i prefer being a front line infantrymen. only reason i had it this time was someone else dropped it and an enemy had it, we killed him and i was ordered to take it.
working with other snipers i've been in situations where i was glad there was a sniper team overlooking me. My squad was pinned down with a berm as our only cover. sniper cleared out the enemy squad enough for us to charge over and finish them off. he was also the one that informed us of where the ambushing enemy squad was after we took the hit.

Information in the hands of a critical thinker is invaluable, information alone is simply dangerous.

That is exactly what the sniper is used for.Bringerof_D wrote:snipers are awesome, just last night i covered my squad's advance onto a cache picking off several RPG wielding rag heads before they could kill off the APC.

Use vent, or if you must..teamchat.
I have used a sniper rifle a few times. It can be pretty fun.
If you can get a sniper on your team, make sure you have a specialist to get him up somewhere so he can do over watch on you.
