Ejector Seats and Fastroping

Are ejector seats possible in the 42 engine? If they could be done, it would be a very nice addition to this mod.

Now, from that one old shot of fastroping in DC, it seems that fastroping is possible in 42. Another very good thing to add to a realism mod.

are you talking about the bf2 ? cause thats a completly diffrent engine but from the looks if it, might be possible

Unfortunetly, I have to say that although it looked like standard 42/DC the image you are referring of 'fast roping' was a modified base engine of 42 for the purpose of testing items which were unavailable on the shipped 42 engine. It was a test bed, to see what ideas would be possible for future engines like BF2. Currently the only evidence we have of fast roping being in the BF2 engine is a comment made quite a while ago from this article dated June 2004 (last paragraph)

Our team will have to assess what Dice was able to effectivly/efficiently integrate into the new engine, and find ways that we can either change whats there (for realistic purposes) or come up with our own solution/ideas if possible :)
