Ability to choose the point of Attack

Well, the docks could be the most heavily defended portion of the island so they chose to land in an easier position?




While this can probably actually be done without any extra coding required, the only problem I can see is that the Chinese, taking Barracuda for example, would have way too much ground to cover (no idea where the enemies might choose to land)

You could also get different assets depending on which flag you chose to take :D

For example, taking different flags at the start could give you sort of a dynamic choice as to what asset layout you wanted to have.
