Yamalia Armor biased towards Russians?

The Canadians could use a few vehicles to balance this map, both from the air and land. Firstly the coyote, a smaller lav III with its advanced surveillance(Nice Optics,Radio Jamming, could this be used as a mobile mortar/howitzer spotting point for the Canadian faction?) Also the RG-31 Mk3 with Protector M151 Remote Weapon Station(The Candian Crow). Oh yeah the chinooks are huge overkill. For Canada a realistic # would be 1 at most. Add 3 transport huey's 2 with miniguns(door gunners) on the side. The chinook also needs a rear gunner and the ability to *deploy an m-777 instead of a supply crate . Now all that is needed ghillie suits & the silenced PGW Timberwolf C14 MRSWS for our snipers , CF CSOR of course.....now that brings up a whole new issue......fastropes?

1. RG-31 , MRAPs and the likes have been suggested before. The DEVs are fully aware of their existence, assume they will feature in the mod at some point.

2. Chinooks do the job fine

3. PR currently dose not feature towed artillery piece's and i highly doubt it will.

4. Ghillie suits have been deemed useless as they dont draw distance

7. Not sure if your serious about fast ropes? eitherway, not possible to implement.

Cool beans, that sniper vid is sexy. I know Chinooks are ok, however for the realistic value , huey's make sense.

Any news of plans for the use of the suppressor ? They are used more often than not and it would be a nice option.

As for the CSOR, they are mainstream SF More like Rangers , or marines in context, JTF2 is Canadian sf.

i do find their armour is very strong on this map, but however i do hope that you relise that the canadians get a guided HAT kit while the russians do not. thus i belive if used correctly in defensive posistions/ambush places can be very useful.

Ok since its you're second post, you're canadian, and you look just "new to P.R." world, i will be gentle with ya.

RG-31 Nyala will be outphased of the system after Afghanistan, LAV25 ARV [ Coyote ] is about to been replaced, suppressor have receive a big NO GO, even if alot of conventional unit us it on the modern battlefield as a ear protection and as a way to make soldier much less deseoriented [ hard to explain but beleive me, when you have sonic crack all around you, from every direction, orientation became... a Luxury. ]. Special Forces faction as the C.S.O.R. or the J.T.F.2, S.A.S. etc...etc..etc.. also receive a big no, cause SOF do not operate on a scale the R-Dev want to be represent in P.R., of course, SOF would play a major role in any full scale conflict, but they cannot be represent in P.R., since the 32p vs 32p have to represent a scaled down "brigade" [ i know that brigade are about 6,000 mens, vehicle, helicopter etc!. But this is P.R. ]. For C14 Timberwolf its coming in P.R., like C8A3, C7CT, etc. Also, Canada only use M134D on CH146 cause the engine do not allow any rocket pod, DND is working in that.

Chinook is a non armed helicopter for a simple reason, it is intended as a resupplyer not a freaking huge gunship.

Also the COYOTE, do not have Radio Jamming device, do not have extremely advanced optics and it cannot be used as a F.A.O. currently in P.R. And even in real life i doubt it would been able to do so, may be the new coming E.S.S.

There is no bitching at all, its only what i know as a C.F. Armor crewman, and as a P.R. Fanboys since 0.3.


Back on topic, BTR80A have a realy high firing rate, yeah of course, Russian always have been good at overpowering thing ( still not bitchin its a proven fact ) and its perfectly reprensent in P.R. So, rather than add the L2A6M-C in the map, what else could be given to C.F. ? LAV25 as a AFV ? ( not able to carry people just like Scimitar ) LAV 3 TUA ?

BTR-80 can be destroyed by one LAT shot but LAV can stand it. BTW what are those old cannons doing in Yamalia that Canadians can use? Were they developing militia vs rus map?
