Auto-join doesn't work while alt+tabbed

Usually I need to queue 20+ minutes to get to a server, so it would be nice if it worked while alt tabbed.

Yeah, I believe BF2 stops doing everything when alt+tabbed, if you want to do stuff on your computer while waiting you need to play windowed. Its possible to place the window so you only lose 1-2 pixels from bottom so its good option, tho you might need to hide the taskbar.

When I'm alt tabbed, almost always whenever I come back in auto-join works straight away and joins, as if it already had me in the server but it just needed me to have the window open for some reason.

Not a bug, or at least one that can be fixed.

If you want to load maps / join via auto-join while alt+tabbed, play in window mode. In full screen there is nothing we can do about it. If you just want to check the web while loading a map / waiting to join, get a ingame web browser like the one on xfire (Scroll Lock + W).
