I have a Asus laptop running on Win 7 Ultimate. Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.17ghz, ATI 4570 Radeon, 3gb ram. I've tried to use BF2 cleaner, but later today, I'm gonna try to update BF2 patch 1.5 again. You know what could be wrong?

Exact same issue as you - also running on a laptop with mobility ATI card.

Specs: Intel C2D P8600 2.4GHZ
Mobility HD 3670 512mb
4GB DDR3 RAM

I started another thread about it I think but will post here anyway. I tried everything - reinstalling, cleaning cache, updating video drivers etc. I have given up now which is unfortunate because I played PR a couple of years back on a different PC and loved it! I really wanted to get back into it, however this is preventing me from doing so.

Is this a common issue?

Well, I had a simalar issue with my bro's comp running win7 w/ ATI card. Clear your cache and make sure that AA is controlled by application or disabled. If that doesn't work, disable AA all together.

Its not the same issue but it would seem that ATI has an issue on win7
